Introduction

NeedlePointer ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your information.

Information Collection and Use

NeedlePointer does not directly collect, store, or transmit personal project information to our servers. Your projects, threads, photos, notes, stash items, and progress entries stay on your device or in your personal iCloud account if you use iCloud sync.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional purchases and a monthly auto-renewable subscription through Apple's StoreKit system. Purchases are processed by Apple using your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card number, billing address, or full Apple ID account details.

The App may store purchase status locally on your device so it can restore access to purchased features, remove ads, and show the number of optional support purchases made on that device. Apple may provide transaction and subscription entitlement information needed for App functionality.

Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect and use certain information including:

Device information such as device type and operating system
Ad interaction data
Approximate location based on IP address
Advertising identifier, if available on your device

This information is used to provide advertisements. For more information about how Google uses data, please see Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All data you create in NeedlePointer is stored:

Locally on your device - Your data stays on your iPhone or iPad.
In your personal iCloud account if you enable iCloud sync - Your data syncs between your devices using Apple's iCloud service.

We do not have access to your iCloud data. Apple's privacy policy governs how iCloud handles your data.

Photos

When you choose to add photos to your projects, these photos are:

Stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud account if iCloud sync is enabled
Never uploaded to our servers
Never shared with third parties by us
Only accessible to you through the App

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your project data synchronizes across your devices using your personal iCloud account. This sync is handled by Apple's iCloud service. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Third-Party Services

NeedlePointer integrates with Google AdMob for advertisements and Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases and subscriptions. These services may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not directly collect personal project information from anyone, including children under 13.

Data Security

Since your project data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account, the security of your data is managed by iOS and iCloud security features.

Your Rights

Since we do not operate servers that store your project data, you control your information by:

Deleting the App to remove local data from your device
Managing your iCloud data through iOS Settings
Managing purchases and subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
